Michael Wietzorek


Michael advises all kinds of companies on purchasing, sales, and distribution (e-commerce, commercial agency, authorized dealer, and franchise systems) as well as product safety and product liability. He also focuses on enforcement proceedings in the remotest corners of the world and in a variety of languages.

Michael negotiates and drafts contracts and represents clients in state courts and arbitration proceedings as well as in mediation and alternative dispute resolution proceedings. He is experienced in national and international commercial, investment, and sports arbitration, for example under the ICC, DIS, or UNCITRAL Rules, as well as in ad hoc proceedings under the German Code of Civil Procedure.

The Centre of Arbitration, Conciliation and Mediation in Maputo, Mozambique, and the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova list him as an arbitrator.

Michael is the Kluwer Arbitration Blog Representative of the Young International Arbitration Group (YIAG) of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA).
