Sabine is Of Counsel of the Practice Area Patents Technology & Life Sciences. She has been specialising in patent litigation for more than 30 years and acted in numerous major litigation cases in Germany. She has established the German IP group of Taylor Wessing and is ranked annually in the JUVE Handbook as a leading litigator in patent related matters.
She has advised and acted in leading cases in international patent litigation such as “Windsurfing” and “Epi-Lady” - famous cases which contributed to some landmark decisions by the German Federal Supreme Court. Sabine advises clients in a wide range of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, medical engineering and mechanical engineering. Sabine was appointed as arbitrator by WIPO, DIS and ICC IP-disputes.
