Hagen advises clients as a lawyer and a civil law notary on all matters relating to corporate law (in particular, on matters concerning M&A, private-equity and venture-capital transactions, as well as restructurings in accordance with the German Transformation Act (Umwandlungsgesetz, UmwG) and real estate law (in particular, portfolio transactions regarding residential and commercial properties by way of asset deals and share deals, as well as property development projects).
His clients include international groups of companies, listed companies, medium-sized companies, family-owned companies, start-ups, and providers of risk capital. In addition to his function as a civil law notary (with official residence in Berlin), Hagen is an honorary professor for the subject field of business law, in particular, private business law and corporate law at the Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Technik Berlin (University of Applied Sciences).
