Rachel is a senior associate in our Shanghai office working within the Corporate team. Over the past few years she has assisted with the set up and restructuring of various family trusts for wealthy Asia families. This involved working closely with our UK Private Client team for cross border matters. Rachel also focuses on helping high net worth individuals and Ultra-high net worth individuals from China with their family wealth preservation and global asset allocation.
On the Corporate side, she advises European and international companies in various industries on their legal matters and business transactions in China and cross border. Rachel's practice covers foreign direct investment related general corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, commercial law, anti-corruption and compliance, as well as Private Wealth/Private Client.
Before joining Taylor Wessing Shanghai Office Rachel worked for the Financial Times in its London office. From her time in England she has a good understanding of English law, as well as British and European business culture.
Rachel is dual qualified in the PRC and England & Wales.
