The post-pandemic office – your space or mine?

    • - GMT

The future of the physical office as a place to work has been the topic of debate across the property sector, on and off, for the last 20 years.

The pandemic has demonstrated to many the effectiveness of working from home, with some coming to the bold conclusion that a physical need for an office is no longer required. Whilst we recognise that the form and function of the office will, and indeed, has already changed, it is very much our combined view that the office will continue to be needed – not least as a place for socialisation, for collaboration, for innovation and, increasingly, for education.

So, it is not so much the death of the office, but the growing need for different or better offices. We believe that the post-COVID-19 environment will transform the office, its role and our requirements from it.

In this session we will look at the factors influencing the office sector going forward, touching on, amongst other things:

  • the need to reduce carbon footprint
  • the polarisation of supply
  • the maturity of the flex / serviced / co-working sector
  • the increasing emphasis on the workplace experience.

We would be delighted if you could join us as we debate these and other dynamics shaping the post COVID-19 workplace. This event will be taking place in person and virtually, therefore please register below for both options.
