Legal Practice in Times of Corona

    • -

Certainly there have been disputes between German and Chinese business partners before corona as well. But often they could be solved by negotiation and litigation. Now, due to the recent travel restrictions and the impossibility to talk face to face, these disputes are dealt with in court. From quality issues of protective equipment out of China, to the failure to fulfill the contracts on time due to so-called force majeure, more and more cases have to be solved by lawyers.

In our upcoming web seminar Legal Practice in Times of Corona - Avoidance and Resolution of Disputes with China, Dr. LI Guang, Salary Partner at Taylor Wessing in Munich, will present the most recent cases out of his practice. Furthermore, he will discuss why even in times of political confrontation German companies shouldn't be reluctant to go to court in China.

The web seminar will be in German language. Deadline for registration is 28th of September. Chinaforum Bayern hosts this webinar.
Registration fee is 25 €, participation for members of Chinaforum Bayern is free of charge.
