TW: thinkingdifferentlyThis week SoulCycle (the achingly cool US indoor cycling fitness business with cult-like status) announced it's partnering with luxury travel company Black Tomato to host Retreats by SoulCycle, a new wellness retreat in the US. Wellness tourism is definitely on the rise and rise – projected to be worth US$919 billion in 2022. So why isn't there more partnering in the fitness/wellness sector with hotels and resorts to tap this market? Nowadays, the most depressing room in many hotels is the gym.
