Simon specialises in advising companies involved in the technology sector. Simon has advised on many venture capital investments, both for funds and companies and on various acquisitions. Simon is a member of the British Venture Capital Association’s Ventures Committee.
Howard is a partner in the corporate department and specialises in advising on venture capital investments, for both companies and investors, acquisitions and disposals as well as IPOs, particularly on AIM. He primarily works with companies in the media, technology and life sciences sectors.
David advises primarily on venture capital transactions, both for funders and companies seeking finance and corporate transactions, such as IPO's and trade sales. David serves as secretary to the Cambridge Network board, which exists to link business and academia to the global high technology community for the benefit of the Cambridge region.
Philip specialises in advising overseas companies, particularly from North America, on M&A, reorganisations, general corporate matters, and the establishment and operation of business in the UK and Europe. Clients include many venture capital backed corporations in the software, mobile, digital media and internet sectors.
Mark advises emerging growth and listed technology companies from the US, Canada, Europe, New Zealand, Australia, India, China and Japan on corporate issues, including M&A, joint ventures, strategic alliances, technology transfers, distribution and licensing agreements, corporate finance transactions, and establishing, operating and growing businesses in the UK and Europe.

Patrick Clark is a partner in the IT, Telecoms and Competition Group and leads the firm's telecoms practice, advising a range of telecoms and technology clients in relation to commercial and regulatory matters that impact their businesses.
Graham is a partner in the Technology team. Graham previously worked in the software industry and was head of legal at a mobile Internet business.
Louise Taylor is a senior associate in the Technology team. Louise advises clients in the technology and media sectors on contracts, projects, regulatory issues and emerging technologies
Chris specialises in technology matters, especially for North American businesses setting up or partnering in Europe. Chris helps them negotiate with European partners and customers, advising on the forms of contracts that will work locally and guiding them through the labyrinth of EU regulation, especially in the data protection/privacy area.
Glyn specialises in digital media, communications and technology. He focuses on the areas of IT-related projects, privacy and data protection, electronic communications, e-commerce, rights exploitation and licensing, intellectual property rights, hacking and other computer crime, managed services and outsourcing. He advises on regulatory and contract issues as well as on dispute resolution in these areas.
Siân specialises in all aspects of IT law, with a particular focus on advising start-up companies and North American businesses setting up in Europe. Siân advises on a wide range of commercial matters with an emphasis on IT contractual work, including technology, software and website development, reseller and partnering arrangements and online content and information.
Paul's practice involves him acting for and providing advice to employers in relation to all aspects of employment and labour law, particularly in relation to the technology, media and financial services sectors. He acts for a wide client base including both UK and many US technology companies.
Charlie is a senior associate specialising exclusively in corporate immigration work. Charlie helps emerging and established businesses to get visas for key non-EEA staff. He also advises high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs on specialist visas for wealth creators. He has a particular focus on the technology, media and financial services sectors.
John advises on all aspects of employment law, including drafting and negotiation of employment contracts, consultancy agreements and compromise agreements. He advises on recruitment and terminations, enforceability of post-employment restrictions and team exit strategies.

Katie has broad experience acting for clients in the technology sector, specialising in commercial litigation including contractual disputes, company disputes, shareholder disputes, professional negligence and software disputes.
Ann is Head of the Incentives Team. Ann specialises in equity incentive arrangements and has particular experience in tax aspects of equity structuring in relation to management for a wide range of companies, cross border issues including inward bound start ups, and takeovers, mergers and acquisitions.
Anna advises on the full range of employee incentive matters. This includes advising companies on setting up and administering both HMRC approved and unapproved employee share schemes and advising on employee benefit trusts. She also advises on related employment tax issues and relevant aspects of corporate transactions
Peter heads up the Corporate Tax group. He specialises in all aspects of corporate tax and has wide experience of the taxation issues arising in connection with mergers, demergers and acquisitions, inward and outward investment and intellectual property. Peter also advises on tax-efficient remuneration strategies.
Robert has over ten years' experience of advising corporate and personal clients on tax planning and structuring and the tax implications of transactions in many fields. Robert has particular expertise in the tax aspects of venture capital (including the EIS and VCT regimes), private equity fund structuring and transactions, and general M&A.
