New Fast Track Trade Mark for the UK

A fast track trade mark will become a reality in the UK on 6 April 2008. As from that date, at the request of the applicant and on payment of an extra fee of £300 (in addition to the standard official fees of £200 for the application and £50 for each class of goods and services over one), the UK Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO) undertakes to examine a trade mark application within ten business days (commencing the business day after that on which the application is received).
