Taylor Wessing Sustainability Benchmarks Index

The Taylor Wessing Sustainability Benchmarks Index provides a reference guide to current widely used international, European and UK environmental indices, benchmarks, standards and accreditations, including both voluntary and mandatory ratings and assessments. These tools are used by financial, investment and corporate organisations and the development industry to measure environmental and sustainability performance. The Taylor Wessing Sustainability Benchmarks Index is a result of extensive research which we believe to be globally comprehensive. However, if there are other benchmarks that you think should be included in the Taylor Wessing Sustainability Benchmarks Index, we would encourage you to contact us at sustainabilitybenchmarks@taylorwessing.com.

Sustainability Benchmarking Survey

How do you measure the sustainability performance of your building, organisation or assess sustainable investment value?

Benchmarking performance in the built environment is central to the implementation of the sustainability agenda in the development industry. It allows the comparison of sustainability credentials and provides a platform for the assessment of green value. However, choosing an appropriate benchmark can be difficult as there are multiple benchmarks and no accepted common standards.

We are seeking to examine which benchmarks are commonly used both nationally and more widely. We would value your contribution to our research by completing a short survey on the benchmarking tools you use.
