We act for both shipyards and owners, this expertise covers newbuildings, ship conversion (for example, lenghtening and shortening of cruise ships) and refits, with a strong focus on the mega yacht industry and all the interface issues relating to design work.
Our expertise extends to the offshore industry where we have worked on projects covering offshore construction, oil rigs, offshore supply vessels, floating production storage and offloading vessels, heavy lift jack-up vessels and tugboats.
Our lawyers regularly advise satellite manufacturers, harnessing the telecommunications expertise we have at our disposal across the firm. We also represent clients from the defence industry, particularly in relation to the construction of aircraft and navy ships.
