Ulrich Reers specialises in equity capital markets and corporate with a focus on IPOs, SPOs, rights issues and public takeovers. He also advises listed companies on general corporate law matters and has particular expertise in advising loan portfolio transactions.
Ulrich studied law at the universities of Münster and Paris X-Nanterre (Maîtrise en Droit). After his second legal state exam in 2003 he worked in a mid-sized business law firm followed by three years in the asset management company of an US fund specialised in distressed investments. At the beginning of 2008, he joined the corporate and capital markets team at Linklaters. In 2011, Ulrich joined Taylor Wessing as a partner.
