Sarah specialises in construction and engineering law with a particular focus on contentious matters.
Sarah has acted for a range of domestic and international clients in the building sector and has extensive experience of adjudication, mediation and High Court litigation. In particular, Sarah acted for the main contractor (Brookfield Construction UK Limited) in a professional negligence claim worth over £200m against the structural engineers in relation to the design and construction of Wembley Stadium. Working for the same client, and in relation to the same project, Sarah worked on a Part 8 dispute against the architects. More recently, Sarah has advised Bath and North East Somerset Council on the disputes arising from the Bath Spa Millennium Project.
Sarah is currently working on two international arbitrations concerning disputes in the Middle East.
In terms of Sarah’s non-contentious work, she has experience of drafting, reviewing and negotiating project documents, namely building contracts and professional appointments.
Sarah graduated from Cambridge University and attended Nottingham Law School.
