Roland Schmidt-Bleker is member of the Practice Area Planning and Environment. In his work for Taylor Wessing he is focused on legal advice and administrative court litigation in the areas of public planning, building and construction law, environmental protection law and the law of departmental and sectoral planning.
He studied law at Bonn University and passed his first legal state exam in 2002. From 2002 to 2007 he worked at a law firm first as a Research Assistant, since passing his second legal state exam in 2006 as a lawyer. In 2005 he received a doctorate for a dissertation on public law. He joined Taylor Wessing in 2007. In 2011 Roland Schmidt-Bleker was appointed specialist lawyer for administrative law.
Roland Schmidt-Bleker is author of several chapters concerning public business law and environmental law in the compendium “Business Transactions in Germany”.
He is a native German speaker, fluent in English.
