Nick is a senior executive in the Trade Marks, Copyright and Media group. For the last 30 years he has had a particular focus on product liability/consumer protection work, notably in the food sector.
He has significant experience in defending the manufacturers/suppliers of a wide range of products in the courts and in intervening/negotiating on behalf of clients with regulatory authorities, including trading standards departments and the Food Standards Agency. He also has considerable experience in the areas of product labelling, advertising and product promotion.
Nick is the firm's representative on the UK Food Law group, a leading independent body of food lawyers and industry specialists recognised by The Law Society for England and Wales. Nick is rated in Chambers (a leading guide to the legal profession) as a "leading individual" in the area of food law/product liability.
