The Tax Group advises a wide range of clients operating in the media sector (including in the fields of broadcasting, film & software publishing (including gaming)) on tax issues arising from their business. For example, we advise on e-commerce, international withholding tax issues on the exploitation of broadcasting rights and other intellectual property, film investment/funding (including sale and leasebacks and other tax based funding mechanisms and investment vehicles) and image right structures for sportsmen/entertainers.
