Non-Contentious construction and engineering (UK)
The Group advises on project structuring and procurement of construction projects from the feasibility stages through construction to completion and any construction aspects of subsequent sale and/or letting. Members of the Group have detailed knowledge of the industry standard forms of contract for construction projects in use in the UK (for example JCT and ICE forms) and internationally (including FIDIC. IMech and IChemE forms) and regularly tailor these standard forms to suit clients' project requirements. The Group also prepares bespoke construction and engineering project documentation including development agreements, building or engineering contracts, professional appointments, collateral warranties, bonds and guarantees.
The Group regularly advises in connection with PFI/PPP and partnering arrangements and is fully conversant in public and private sector requirements. Group members are actively involved with industry organisations, professional bodies and participate in working parties and industry forums.
