Construction finance and public procurement
The Group addresses the construction and engineering aspects of property acquisition and development finance for banks, property developers and investors. The Group prepares construction and engineering contracts to meet third party funders' requirements, where acting for developers or occupiers, and reports on the preparation by others of such contracts, where acting for clients providing finance. We advise, for example, project companies and contractors on the construction and engineering aspects of public procurement projects, including PFI and PPP and other major projects, which includes advice on construction and FM contracts, bonds, guarantees, warranties, direct agreements, interface agreements, and the appointments of construction professionals.
