We are on panels for numerous major banks and regularly advise lenders on structuring and securing their facilities and on workouts, restructurings and insolvency procedures when problems occur.
Assignments range from small exposures, perhaps where there is a reputational risk to the lender, to complex and high value facilities involving blue-chip borrowers and multi-layered capital structures.
We design and implement innovative solutions, especially involving tax saving schemes, and take pride in offering straightforward advice, being tough negotiators and always looking for the most effective solution.
Our strong relationships with many insolvency practitioners assists us to represent the lender’s interests in any insolvency situation. We also appreciate the differing risks facing lenders to insolvent businesses in different jurisdictions and our approach is to ensure that our client’s objectives are achieved whilst minimising risk for it at all stages.
