Public Law Disputes
There are many ways in which actions and decisions of bodies can be challenged including by judicial review, CAT appeals and internal review procedures. We have acted for regulators, authorities and companies and we know the issues that arise for both challengers and defending public bodies. We understand how the issues are considered in the Administrative Court and through these other procedures for challenges. This enables us to best present the arguments.
There are significant differences from the commercial arena and we ensure these are never missed and are fully considered. Public bodies must disclose all the relevant information and cannot ignore relevant matters. A challenger must explain why their points have not been addressed and justify the Court or tribunal intervening.
