Joint Venture and Alliances
Our clients often wish to create relationships of commercial co-operation with other partners without forming any corporate law ties, through joint ventures. In considering whether a joint venture is the appropriate structure to adopt, our clients will examine a number of factors, including whether such a structure will effectively channel the strengths of the contractual partner in order to produce or intensify the co-operative effect between the parties. Typically joint ventures are made in the context of the formation and implementation of large-scale projects, the development of new markets, and the establishment of distributions channels and in many other areas. We advise our clients on the drafting of the contracts, contract negotiations and later at the contractual management stage. As an international full service law firm, we are in a position to take into account all legal aspects of a joint venture, involving colleagues from other practice areas if required.
