Dr. Kilian Friemel advises both employers and employees (in particular: executives) on all aspects of individual labour law, and conducts protection against dismissal actions and remuneration-related disputes. His main areas of practice include the advising on service and employment contracts of board members and managing directors, as well as on claims for damages under the employment and service relationship, while he has gained particular expertise in the field of competition. Dr. Kilian Friemel has special know-how and expertise in litigation.
Furthermore he advises national and international enterprises on all aspects of collective employment law.
Dr. Kilian Friemel passed his two legal state exams in Passau and Zweibrücken in 1999 and 2001, respectively. He has worked in Munich as a lawyer since June 2001.
Having received a doctor’s degree on the topic “Shop agreements regarding employees’ inventions and technical suggestions for improvement”, he has specific knowledge in the areas where labour law and IP law overlap. He has a special interest in employees' inventions law.
Dr. Kilian Friemel is a certified specialist for labour and employment law, author of several labour law-related publications, writes newsletters and is a regular speaker at seminars focusing on labour and employment matters. He is also a member of the labour law working group of the German Lawyers' Association and of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR).
