Taylor Wessing expands European Real Estate practice
Taylor Wessing has developed its European real estate practice with the arrivals of three new lawyers to its UK and German offices respectively.
Further to the arrival of new head of environment and planning, Brian Greenwood, in April 2006, Taylor Wessing has continued to grow this practice area with the recent appointment of associate Luke Hinchley. Luke is a specialist environmental lawyer and is joining us from Norton Rose, where he was previously part of Brian's environmental and planning team. Luke's move to Brian's team follows those of fellow associate, Matthew Allan, and professional research lawyer, Sherryll L'oken.
Two new partners have recently joined Taylor Wessing's Dusseldorf real estate practice, Dr. Thomas Fehrenbach and Dietmar Mampel. Both Thomas and Dietmar were formerly at the Bonn office of Redeker Sellner Dahs & Widmaier.
Thomas specialises in real estate management and private construction law, advising on real estate transactions as well as major real estate projects. His expertise includes the classic aspects of real property law, project management and project marketing, including commercial tenancy, as well as construction, architecture and engineering contracts. His clients appreciate his “excellent work down to the last detail” (JUVE Jahrbuch 2005/2006). He enjoys an excellent reputation as an expert advisor and negotiator in major project developments.
At Redeker, Dietmar was responsible for a broad public law spectrum, from construction and planning law to environmental and emission control. His clients include important national project developers who greatly appreciate him for his “excellent work” (JUVE Handbuch 2005/2006). Prior to joining Redeker, Dietmar Mampel worked for many years as a judge at the Gelsenkirchen administration court.
Dr. Heinrich Stallknecht, management representative of Taylor Wessing Düsseldorf, comments:
“We are pleased to gain two excellent property law experts in Thomas Fehrenbach and Dietmar Mampel. Their great reputations and impressive networks, especially in the Rhine-Ruhr area, will help us to further establish our position on the real estate market. . We now have a strong team to offer our clients one-stop solutions to all issues of real estate management on the highest quality level.”
The real estate practice of Taylor Wessing in Germany comprises 34 fee earners, while the European total stand at 76.
