Taylor Wessing Brussels advises The Sopra Group on acquisition of Business Architects International (BAI)
Taylor Wessing in Brussels has advised The Sopra Group on the acquisition of Business Architects International (BAI)), a Belgian software company that caters to the financial sector with IT-solutions such as ComponentBanker.
The Sopra Group is a French IT and Consultancy company with 10,000 employees and a turnover of €1 billion. The acquisition price was not disclosed.
The Taylor Wessing team was headed by partner, Martine De Witte.
Dirk Meeus of Allen & Overy advised the sellers, which included Belgium's largest investment company, GIMV, Stonefund and Parc-IT.
