Taylor Wessing advises the French Basketball Federation on insurance case
Taylor Wessing in Paris has been successful in its bid to give France's national basketball team captain, Boris Diaw, the green light to take part in the European Basketball Championship 2007.
Didier Domat and Neal Lachmany, specialists in sports law at Taylor Wessing in Paris, have been representing the Fédération Française de Basketball (French Basketball Federation) in the course of its discussions and negotiations with insurance companies and the NBA Phoenix Suns Team. These discussions have led to the resolution of the issue of insuring Boris Diaw, thereby opening the way for his participation in the European Championships 2007 taking place in Spain from 3-16 September.
