Taylor Wessing advises Digital Information Broadcast Leader Skinkers on USD16m funding

07-Nov-2007  |  Corporate, Private Capital

Taylor Wessing's Venture Capital team in Cambridge has advised Skinkers, the market leader in information broadcast technology, on its USD16 million funding from lead investor Acacia Capital Partners, existing investor SPARK Ventures and members of Skinkers’ management team.

The company will use the funding to further develop its enterprise-wide communication platform business, enhance its Live Notification Platform technology and bring to market LiveStation, the world’s first interactive global broadcast network for live television and radio.

This latest funding follows a VC funding round for Skinkers in January 2007, on which Taylor Wessing also advised.  The majority of the funds from that round were provided by SPARK Ventures.

The Taylor Wessing team advising Skinkers was led by Simon Walker, assisted by Adrian Rainey and Matthew Burman.

Chris Grew of Heller Ehrman LLP advised Acacia Capital Partners.
