Taylor Wessing advises Brentford Football Club on new stadium development
Taylor Wessing has acted for Brentford Football Club on what is only the third major football stadium development in London in the last seventy years.
The Club has obtained an option to purchase a 7.6 acre site at Lionel Road, Brentford, with the vision for the development including a 20,000 seat stadium for football and rugby, a health centre, leisure centre, social enterprise business centre, a substantial residential development and hotel and conference facilities. Taylor Wessing is also advising in relation to Brentford FC vacating its existing stadium at Griffin Park, which will be developed for residential use once the new stadium is built. The development phase is scheduled to complete in 2011.
