New Managing Partner for Taylor Wessing in France
Christian Valsamidis, one of France's leading entertainment lawyers, has been elected the new Managing Partner of Taylor Wessing's Paris office, succeeding previous head, Arnaud de Senilhes.
Christian specialises in media and entertainment law, an area in which he's been advising independent film producers as well as prominent French and foreign directors for over 15 years. His practice has particular expertise in the area of international film financing and negotiation of ancillary, secondary and derived rights. His Paris-based team has handled contract drafting and negotiation for more than 400 full-length French and International feature films. Christian also lectures at Sciences-Politiques in Paris.
Christian has been a partner in the Paris office since its establishment in 2003 and he and his fellow partners will be focusing on growing Taylor Wessing's major international and national clients.
