Third Edition of the Definitive Guide to Publishing Law co-written by Taylor Wessing solicitor, Christopher Benson, launched
Lawyers Christopher Benson
The third edition of 'Publishing Law' co-authored by Christopher Benson, solicitor in Taylor Wessing's intellectual property group, and Hugh Jones, Copyright Counsel to The Publishers Association and formerly of Taylor Wessing (then Taylor Joynson Garrett), has been published.
The book, published by Routledge, is a comprehensive guide to the law as it affects the publishing process and is highly regarded as a practical reference on legal and commercial publishing issues by in-house lawyers and legal firms alike.
Considered to be a definitive guide in its field, the third edition has provided further advice and updates on the law as it applies to rapidly changing areas of publishing. New areas featured in the third edition include an introduction on UK and EU law, full coverage of electronic rights and e-commerce issues, and up-to-date coverage of changes in UK and EU legislation.
Other Taylor Wessing authors who contributed to the third edition include partners Paul Mitchell, Niri Shan and Peter Willis, and associates Tim Pinto, Tom Carl, Nick Cody, Lorna Caddy and Nada Jarnaz.
Taylor Wessing will be holding a party at their London offices in June to mark the launch of the third edition.
