The Ability Group successfully acquires Hilton Liverpool Hotel

The Hotels Group at Taylor Wessing has successfully advised The Ability Group on the multi-million pound acquisition of the Hilton Liverpool Hotel from Grosvenor Limited. The acquisition was funded by Allied Irish Bank. The Ability Group now boosts a £500m portfolio of seven hotels and employing over 1250 staff.

The brand new 215 room Hilton Liverpool Hotel, which had its official Grand Opening on 28 January 2010, is part of the Liverpool One development, a 42-acre mixed-use scheme completed by Grosvenor. The Hilton Liverpool Hotel will be a keystone in the newly remodelled Liverpool city centre.

The hotel incorporates state of the art facilities, including a fitness centre, extensive dining and a stylish bar, with panoramic views over the city and the Albert Docks.
