Technology Barometer - Q2 2012
We are encouraged that this quarter’s edition is a good news story. After a rather dismal end to 2011, the start of 2012 has seen a marked improvement in share prices, valuations and board room confidence in the UK tech sector. Share prices across essentially all segments of the software and ICT services landscape showed improvement in the first three months of this year. With performance on the up in the sector, there is even the whiff of a pick-up in the IPO market. Our survey of CEO confidence reflects this positive outlook with markedly more optimism about the future than three months ago.
