Taylor Wessing strengthens corporate recovery offering with new partner hire from Jones Day

30-Sep-2010  |  Restructuring & Corporate Recovery

Taylor Wessing has hired Claire Martin-Royle as a new partner in the firm's Restructuring & Corporate Recovery group. Claire will be joining the firm on 20 October 2010.

Claire, who is qualified both as a barrister and a solicitor, joins Taylor Wessing from Jones Day's London office, having been there for four years following a move from Taylor Wessing in 2006.

Her appointment further strengthens the firm's international Restructuring & Corporate Recovery team, which numbers 29 specialists across Taylor Wessing's 13 offices advising on some of the most complex and high-profile restructurings and insolvencies in Europe, the Middle East and beyond.

Taylor Wessing's UK Head of Restructuring & Corporate Recovery, Nick Moser, comments:

"Having Claire rejoin us is very exciting. Her many qualities, not least her excellence as a lawyer, exactly compliment the team that we are building here and which is already making waves in the market."

Claire Martin-Royle comments:

"I am really thrilled to be rejoining Taylor Wessing. It's a fantastic opportunity for me to work with Nick again and to be part of further developing the team."
