Taylor Wessing has been shortlisted for the Contentious Trust and Estates Team of the Year at the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Private Client Awards for the second consecutive year.
As a market leader in the private client field, Taylor Wessing places emphasis on providing co-ordinated advice which caters for all the needs of their private clients and their advisers - including tax, estate planning, residential property, and family law. This approach extends to dispute resolution advice which may be required by trustees, executors and beneficiaries.
The team is headed up by Steven Kempster, partner, who recently featured in the Lawyer Hot 100, and also includes private client partners: Andrew Hine and Andrew Goodman, and two commercial disputes partners, Richard Marsh and David de Ferrars. The team handles cases of significant value and complexity in England and, mostly, internationally (e.g. Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Cayman, Bermuda) and is witnessing a growth in new matters connected to the Middle East, India and Russia.
The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) is a unique professional body providing members with a local, national and international learning and business network focusing on the responsible stewardship of assets today and across the generations. These awards highlight excellence among private client solicitors, accountants, barristers, bankers, trust managers and financial advisors. The awards ceremony will take place on 15 September 2011 at the London Hilton on Park Lane Hotel.
