Taylor Wessing Hotels Group advises BDL Management on the takeover of nine Ramada Hotels

 
Taylor Wessing's Hotels Group has successfully advised BDL Management Limited on two separate transactions for the signing of individual management contracts for nine Ramada Hotels following the expiry of the landlords' leases with Ramada Jarvis.  The nine hotels are Ramada Solihull, Ramada Hemel Hempstead, Ramada Guildford, Ramada Hyde Park, Ramada Ealing, Ramada Farnham, Ramada Sutton Coldfield and Ramada Gatwick.  All of the hotels will continue to trade under the Ramada brand.

The Taylor Wessing team was led by Head of the Hotels Group, Richard Bursby and senior associate Paul Smith, who said:

"BDL are a long standing and highly valued client of the Hotels Group and we are delighted to have helped them add a further nine hotels to their expanding portfolio.  This was a very challenging transaction as it included simultaneously taking over the management of 9 hotels in a period of 24 hours."
