Taylor Wessing hosts the launch of BCO Online Learning – Understanding Office Specifications
The London offices of international law firm Taylor Wessing, played host to over 70 real estate professionals at the launch of the British Council for Offices’ and the College of Estate Management’s new online accreditation course.
The course, a tool to upskill the agent community, is based on the latest edition of the BCO Guide to Specification. The publication, written by 90 members of the BCO, sets the standards for office development across the UK. Like The Guide, the course will offer advice across all aspects of office design.
Richard Kauntze, Chief Executive of the BCO said:
“The BCO’s Guide to Specification is widely recognized as having set the industry standard for the specification of offices since its launch in 1994. It is unique in bringing together expertise from within the BCO’s broad membership, which spans the full spectrum of those who design, build and occupy office space.
“Now, for the first time industry professionals will have the opportunity to gain an accreditation recognising their commitment to studying the ongoing changes in office development and occupation.”
Helen Garthwaite partner in the Construction group and Board Member of the BCO added:
"This training course is a welcome platform drawing together industry sectors to common ground and promoting good cost effective and sustainable working practices"
