Taylor Wessing has appointed Alcatel-Lucent Lead Corporate Counsel, Patrick Clark, as a partner and Head of Telecoms. Patrick will be joining the firm on 23 June.
Patrick is Lead Corporate Counsel at Alcatel-Lucent for the North Europe customer unit (comprising UK, Ireland, Nordics and Baltics) and for the BT and Vodafone Global Account Teams, in which role he currently oversees a team of ten. He is rejoining Taylor Wessing, having trained and then worked at the firm for over ten years prior to joining Alcatel-Lucent in 2005.
Patrick specialises in telecommunications, IT and media/broadcasting, and has considerable experience advising across these sectors in relation to commercial and regulatory matters. He also has particular expertise in the area of communications regulation, advising clients including telecoms network operators and service providers, cable operators and IT and telecoms hardware, software and service vendors and customers, ranging from major international organisations to technology start-ups.
