Taylor Wessing forms alliance with BSJP Legal to increase activities on the Polish market

As of 1 May 2009 Taylor Wessing will establish a strategic alliance with BSJP Legal, one of Poland’s leading law firms. With this step Taylor Wessing follows its German and international clients which are increasingly investing in Poland, especially in infrastructure, energy and cleantech, IT, financial services and real estate. The two firms’ strategic and operative cooperation will concentrate on corporate / M&A, banking & finance, real estate & infrastructure and technology. BSJP, one of Poland’s leading legal advisers to German-speaking investors, has just under 20 fee earners and 50 legal staff, making it one of the large local firms; managing partner Dr. Christian Schnell is admitted to both the German and the Polish bar. BSJP clients include banks such as HSH Nordbank, real estate investors such as SachsenFonds, retail businesses including OBI, Greenfield investors such as MAN or MTU Aero Engines, wind farm developers such as Ventotech, as well as many German and European manufacturing companies.

Headquartered in Warsaw, BSJP Legal also operates offices in Posen, Wroclaw, Gdansk and Katowice - Poland’s most important commercial centres.
