Taylor Wessing fires up its engines once more for the TW Charity Rally to Cannes
Following its successful début last year, the Taylor Wessing Charity Rally will arrive in style for MIPIM 2007.
On Saturday 10 March, a convoy of modern and classic cars and motorbikes, from Range Rovers and Porsches to Bentley Continentals, Mercedes Coupes and the obligatory Harley Davidson, will depart for the TW Charity Rally from Taylor Wessing's London office to Cannes.
Rally enthusiasts from the property and banking world and Taylor Wessing will be taking an exciting new scenic route, via Calais to the historic town of St. Omer and the Hotel Chateau Tilques. From there, the journey will continue through the rural communities of Eure et Loire, the volcanic landscape of Auvergne and finally cross Norman Foster's magnificent viaduct at Millau into the real south of France for an overnight stop in the Roman town of Arles. The TW Charity Rally will roll into Cannes on the evening of Tuesday 13 March for a drinks reception at Hotel Grand on La Croisette.
Monies raised from this event will be donated to Whizz-Kidz, a national charity that provides customised mobility equipment to disabled children across the country.

By providing them with customised mobility equipment, training and advice, Whizz-Kidz actually gives them something much more important. We give them the independence to live a life of freedom at home, at school and at play: the independence to be themselves.
We need your help to change their lives. Whizz-Kidz has changed the lives of over 4,000 disabled children since 1990 but there are still thousands of disabled children who could benefit from customised mobility equipment.
The NHS is unable to meet all the mobility needs of disabled children due to under funding. Whizz-Kidz does joint fund mobility equipment where possible, but also aims to ensure that much-needed improvements are made in delivering wheelchair services for children in the UK.
