Taylor Wessing completes trio of record West End lettings
Taylor Wessing has been acting for London & Regional ("L&R") in connection with its redevelopment of the former Marks & Spencers' headquarters in Baker Street, London, W1.
Led by Partner, Keith Barnett, Taylor Wessing has concluded a prelet of 70,000 square feet to multi-national insurance giant, Marsh & McLennan, at a rent of £57.50 per square foot.
This furthers on from Taylor Wessing having previously concluded prelettings to both Knight Frank and BDO Stoy Hayward, taking the total space prelet to 400,000 square feet. 55 Baker Street is the largest speculative office development in the West End.
The scheme is designed by Architect Ken Shuttleworth and, in addition to the office space, will include 45,000 feet of retail, 17,000 feet of leisure and 25,000 feet of residential.
