Taylor Wessing announces new partner hire to international Insurance and Reinsurance Group

Taylor Wessing has appointed Susannah Wakefield as a partner within the firm's Insurance and Reinsurance group.

Susie joins the group's London team, further enhancing its reputation for the handling of complex, international insurance and reinsurance disputes and for advisory work on insurance and reinsurance contract terms and conditions. As a UK qualified Solicitor, a member of the New York Bar, and a Bermuda Barrister and Attorney, Susie has acquired relevant legal expertise in each of these jurisdictions and has been involved in insurance and reinsurance disputes subject to Bermuda law and New York law, as well as English law.

Taylor Wessing's International Insurance & Reinsurance group serves clients operating across the world, many of whom are leading participants in the insurance and reinsurance industry. The group embraces the firm's London, Paris, Dubai, Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Munich offices and consists of corporate and regulatory lawyers, as well as lawyers with substantial experience in the handling of insurance and reinsurance disputes in various jurisdictions.

Susie's appointment was effective from 19 July 2010.
