Taylor Wessing advises Tech Data on acquisition of distribution business of Man and Machine

Tech Data entered into an agreement to acquire the Value Added Distribution business of Man and Machine in Germany, UK, France, Italy, Switzerland, the Benelux, Poland and Romania. Taylor Wessing together with its European partner firms advised Tech Data on the acquisition. The transaction was structured as an asset deal and is subject to the merger control clearance of the EU Commission.

Taylor Wessing advised Tech Data in the past on several transactions, e.g. on the squeeze-out of the minority shareholders after the take-over of Computer 2000 AG, on the integration of the Azlan group and on the structuring of a joint venture with Brightstar Corporation.

The volume of the transaction amounts to EUR 25 million.
