The Panasonic Electric Works Group optimizes its European sales organization in order to expand its market share in the European markets. The activities of the Panasonic Electric Works Group in Europe comprise on the one hand the development and production of electromechanical relays, electronic modules and fire-alarm systems. On the other hand, they are in particular the sales of certain components, devices, systems and solutions for nearly all kinds of automation technology. But also the production and sales of laminates and the import of electrical articles for health- and beauty-care as well as power-tools from their Asian plants belong to them.

Amongst others, the restructuring concerns a merger of the German sales entity Panasonic Electric Works Deutschland GmbH to the European holding entity Panasonic Electric Works Europe AG as well as the centralization of various pan-European functions at the Headquarters in order to disburden the local daughter companies. The transaction is advised by a Taylor Wessing team combining corporate and employment law expertise.
