Taylor Wessing advises on the sale of Hesperia London Victoria to Crimson Hotels

The Hotels Group at Taylor Wessing advised Hesperia Hotels on the sale of their London Victoria Hotel to Crimson Hotels.

The 212 bedroom Hotel, which was marketed by CBRE, will continue to be operated as a Hesperia Hotel before converting to a Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in 2012.

Richard Bursby and senior associate Paul Smith led an international team, including specialists from real estate, corporate, tax, employment and pensions as well as lawyers from The Netherlands and Spain.

Richard Bursby, head of the firm's Hotels group, commented on the deal:
