Taylor Wessing advises Inca Digital Printers Limited on its acquisition by one of the world's largest manufacturers and suppliers in the printing industry
Taylor Wessing's Cambridge office has acted for Inca Digital Printers Limited, a specialist wide-format digital inkjet printer manufacturer, on its £30m sale to Japanese company, Dainippon Screen Mfg. Co. Limited, one of the world's largest manufacturers and suppliers of system components for the prepress and printing industries.
Taylor Wessing has acted for Inca Digital Printers since its spinout from Cambridge Consultants Limited, backed by Advent Ventures. In this most recent deal, Taylor Wessing advised selling shareholders on the sale of Inca to Dainippon, with Inca becoming a fully owned subsidiary of this Tokyo stock exchange-listed company, thereby further expanding this Japanese digital printing business.
Cambridge-based corporate partner, David Mardle, led the Taylor Wessing team, assisted by Adrian Rainey (corporate), Elizabeth Small (tax), Alasdair Friend (employee benefits) and Alison Hamilton (real estate).
