Taylor Wessing advises Hyperion on £5 million capital placing

Taylor Wessing has advised Hyperion Insurance Group on a £5.1 million capital placement in the international insurance group.  The placing coincides with the announcement of an almost doubling of profits for Hyperion, which is expanding at a rapid pace.

Since the first company, Howden Insurance Brokers, was founded in 1994, the turnover of Hyperion Insurance Group has seen an average compound annual growth of 37%.  The insurance group has recently reported full-year profits of £4.03mn for 2005, up 94% from the prior year’s £2.08 million.

Taylor Wessing has acted for Hyperion Insurance Group since its incorporation.
