Taylor Wessing has advised Google on the acquisition of Cambridge based
speech synthesis company Phonetic Arts.  Phonetic Arts’ team of researchers and engineers work at the cutting edge of speech synthesis, delivering technology that generates natural computer speech from small samples of recorded voice.

The Taylor Wessing team was led by technology and inward investment partners Simon Walker and Mark Barron. The team included employment partner Sean Nesbitt, stock options partner Ann Casey, IP partner Chris Jeffery, tax partner Robert Young, senior associate Rowena Kay from the employment group and associates Karolina Plent from the technology and inward investment group and Anna Johnson from the stock options group.
