Taylor Wessing advises easycash GmbH on the acquisition of paycom Gesellschaft für elektronische Zahlungssysteme mbH

The international law firm Taylor Wessing has advised easycash GmbH on the acquisition of paycom Gesellschaft für elektronische Zahlungssysteme mbH (Kiel), and its subsidiary paycom Kiel GmbH (Speyer).

With the acquisition of paycom, which is mainly active in northern Germany, easycash has increased its network of payment terminals by 8,500 units. Easycash GmbH is Germany's largest payment provider in the field of card-based payment solutions. Easycash employs over 360 employees in Germany and serves 92,000 retailers with 275,000 terminals. Its processed payment transactions amounted to more than one billion transactions in 2010. Easycash GmbH is a subsidiary of Paris-listed (Euronext) Ingenico SA which operates 15 million payment terminals in 40 countries and has a global market coverage of more than 30%.
