Taylor Wessing advises Amadeus Capital Partners on latest Investment
Taylor Wessing's award winning Venture Capital group has acted for Amadeus Capital Partners, the European technology investor, on a 650,000 euro seed investment into Linkdex.
Linkdex is a London based company whose software allows companies and agencies to analyse and manage the natural search results for their online businesses more efficiently. The Amadeus Seed Fund led the investment with participation from Amadeus III.
In the past three years, Taylor Wessing has acted for the Amadeus Seed Fund in the financing of three other companies. The three companies are Xmos, a semiconductor company with a novel programmable, multi-core, event driven processor that allows complete systems to be built rapidly in software; Ambient Industries, who are building www.flook.it, a new mobile Location Based Services application; and Synature, a web text advert optimisation company.
Taylor Wessing's Technology and Inward Investment group was recently recognised at the 2009 European Venture Capital Journal (EVCJ) Awards, where the firm was named Law Firm of the Year. The group was described by EVCJ's Executive Editor as having "a formidable reputation"; and "a greater familiarity with new technologies and business practices than other firms".
The Taylor Wessing team advising Amadeus Capital Partners included Venture Capital Partner Simon Walker and Senior Associate Adrian Rainey.
