Taylor Wessing advise the Briefing Media Group on the acquisition of UBM plc's UK agricultural and medical general practitioner portfolios

Taylor Wessing private equity partners Emma Danks and Martin Winter have led a team advising the Briefing Media Group on the acquisition from UBM plc of its UK agriculture and medical general practitioner portfolios (including the Farmers Guardian and Pulse titles).
The Briefing Media Group has been established by Briefing Media founders, Neil Thackray and Rory Brown, and GCP Capital Partners, to facilitate the acquisitions from UBM plc and further acquisitions in the media space.
Completion of the deal is conditional upon, amongst other matters, a TUPE consultation and is scheduled for Q1 2012.
