Relocation Dr. Sven-Michael Werner to Shanghai

Dr. Sven-Michael Werner, partner, has been relocated from Taylor Wessing’s Munich office to Shanghai in October 2009.

Dr. Werner is a Corporate lawyer with extensive experience in M&A and Private Equity transactions in China. Besides his German law degrees he holds a Hong Kong law degree on Chinese business law. He has been working with Taylor Wessing’s China Group for six years and became partner in early 2009. Dr. Werner will further strengthen the capabilities of Taylor Wessing’s Shanghai office to advise clients on large-scale M&A and Private Equity transactions in China. The Shanghai office of Taylor Wessing exists since 1996 and was one of the first offices European law firms established in China. Together with Taylor Wessing’s second office in Beijing (opened in 2008) and China practitioners in Munich, Frankfurt, London and Paris, it serves multi-national enterprises as well as medium sized and growing businesses from Europe in relation to their business operations in China.
